Irish Times covers Outvesting

Today’s Irish Times covered Outvesting in the Technology & Innovation section with an article from Ciara O’Brien.

“The fund has already passed the halfway mark, and has been raising its profile through Twitter. When it reaches €5,000 the campaign will collect the cash and seek applications from startup-ups for the funding. Those who donated the money to the fund will get to vote on the recipient.”

[James: It should be noted that while I’m swanning around getting interviewed by the media John Keyes is the other half of the team who keeps the engine greased at Outvesting HQ]

PayPal Limited Account

Just a quick update to keep you all in the loop about when our payments page is going live.

We’ve been in touch with PayPal and most of the issues have been resolved. The remaining issue is that we are not a registered organisation, and therefore we cannot supply PayPal with documentation to prove that we are a non-profit organistation.

Hopefully we’ll have matters resolved very soon.

Thank you for your patience.
