You’ve done it – €5,000 raised for an Irish startup

Congratulations to all our fund donors – together you’ve raised €5,000 for an Irish startup.  Actually you’ve overshot the target a little and we’ll hold that amount in reserve for the next fund-drive (or donate to charity in the case of that not happening).

The next stage is the call for applications where we’ll post an online form for entrepreneurs interested in being considered. More details about that in a few days so keep your eyes peeled and please spread the word to any startup people you might know. After all there’s €5,000 up for grabs!

Still open for donations

The support outvesting has received thus far, has been amazing. Thanks to all of your donations, the fund is currently at €4750. Only €250 €150 more is required to hit our target.

We have more than that sum in outstanding pledges, but we feel it’s better to seek new donations, rather than continually chasing those pledges.

PayPal Limited Account

Just a quick update to keep you all in the loop about when our payments page is going live.

We’ve been in touch with PayPal and most of the issues have been resolved. The remaining issue is that we are not a registered organisation, and therefore we cannot supply PayPal with documentation to prove that we are a non-profit organistation.

Hopefully we’ll have matters resolved very soon.
